Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012, serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation that she was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end.
